These are the 36 experiences of Just Energy Transition that were part of the 2020 Exhibition. Its systematization is a tool for strengthening advocacy around this issue and enhances the relational approach to energy.

Agroecological production and rescue of native and creole seeds

Implementation of highly efficient production systems for energy recycling, using polycultures, associated crops, organic fertilizers, bio-preparations for insect and fungus management, planting trees to recycle nutrients, recovery of native seeds, rainwater harvesting for irrigation, all of this to build food sovereignty.

Let’s illuminate the slopes

The hillside movement is an articulation of community and neighborhood organizations in the city of Medellín, which have come together to defend and transform the territory. In previous years, the organization has worked on actions that allow them to claim their right to the city.

Photovoltaic systems for the El Edén Senior Citizens’ Home Foundation

The El Edén Home for the Elderly Foundation launched the solar energy project in 2018, which aimed to improve the quality of life of the elderly, through access to clean and continuous energy to carry out various leisure activities and, incidentally, to take care of their health in a simpler and more practical way.

Empaga’s chili bicimolino

The Association has 25 families that plant, cultivate and harvest chili peppers organically, made up of people of different ages who carry out agricultural activities and process the product in a collaborative manner.
