25 years ago this idea was born in Suba Rincón, that concern for art and the cultural field …. gives the idea to recycle, reuse, transform, create one of its members. The textures and volumes call his attention so he saw in nature the possibility of giving it a drying and pressing treatment, to preserve color and ease of work. The reuse of organic material generated in their own home and, behind this, the ecological awareness and pedagogy to generate more friendly and conscious communities with the planet.
The experience arises seeking to take advantage of the practices of separation and treatment of organic and inorganic matter, the use of the goodness of nature, when they fulfill their life cycle, drying, pressing and preparation of the natural palette: fruit and tree bark, flower petals, leaves, coffee straws, bagasse juice to give texture to the work.
In addition, there is a recognition of the botany of their environment, ancestry, myths and legends, the importance of mother earth for our existence and to recognize ourselves as part of it. As a result of these outings to wetlands, mountains, forests, collection of botanical material, we will vindicate mother earth in works of art as a family enterprise.
