These are the 36 experiences of Just Energy Transition that were part of the 2020 Exhibition. Its systematization is a tool for strengthening advocacy around this issue and enhances the relational approach to energy.

Hydropower and circular economy solutions in Intag, Ecuador

The experience was born from the recognition of the human talent that exists in the community and the ability of young people to generate innovative responses to the needs of small producers, which in turn will achieve the appropriation of the commitment to protect and conserve the water, the forest in a valley known for its great biodiversity, at the foot of the Cotacachi-Cayapas National Park.

Astuhermosas community solar energy

The farm is sustainable and contributes to the reduction of contamination of water sources, for the improvement of the quality of life in the area to supply the energy demand in the Guaini village.

Solar energy for island life

There was no energy in the area apart from the biomass of the wetland they inhabited. When thinking about solar energy, the objective was to improve living conditions and generate a sense of belonging to the territory among the members of the organization, who defend the island way of life and the protection of the ecosystem.
