Technology:
Transition Areas
Fair Energetics
- Alternative energy supply
- Integration of different energy uses.

Implementation of highly efficient production systems for energy recycling, using polycultures, associated crops, organic fertilizers, bio-preparations for insect and fungus management, planting trees to recycle nutrients, recovery of native seeds, rainwater harvesting for irrigation, all of this to build food sovereignty.
Technical characteristics of the proposal
Agroecological production and recovery of agro-biodiversity; there is an inventory of promising species in the face of climate change, where agroecological practices are implemented to conserve soil, collect rainwater and plant native fruit trees to create agroforestry systems.
Productive, community, environmental, or economic processes or activities that were positively impacted by the implementation of the community experience of TEJ.
The experience is associated with agroecological production, based on the traditional knowledge of the indigenous communities of the municipality of Riosucio, Caldas, which is located within an indigenous reservation of colonial origin, with a limited area of 480 thousand hectares and a population of 25 thousand inhabitants, i.e., access to land is limited because there are small plots for each family.
There is a vision of agroecology as a productive, social and cultural process, as a community life plan. A total of 250 species and varieties of native seeds were rescued in the territory, associated with traditional plant knowledge and uses in gastronomy.
Beneficiaries of the experience
78 families composed of 100 young people
(between 13 and 18 years of age and 130 boys and girls (between 0 and 12 years of age)
