The Association has 25 families that plant, cultivate and harvest chili peppers organically, made up of people of different ages who carry out agricultural activities and process the product in a collaborative manner.

The chili peppers are organically grown, cultivated and processed. It is chopped, dried and then passed through the machine bike to be processed and marketed.
Beneficiaries of the experience
25 families, 13 women and 9 men, composed of 3 young people (between 12 and 18 years of age)
Achievements and problems encountered during implementation
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Social and community: collaborative work among the 25 families, integrating people of different ages, knowledge and customs, joining efforts for a single purpose. It is important to highlight that several young people are participating in the experience.
- Sustainable production: The product was grown, processed and marketed organically with environmentally friendly mountain microorganisms.
- Economic: Family economies were strengthened, both through the marketing of the product and the organization’s own savings initiative. It is important to emphasize that young people actively participate as «own bank» savers.
Women’s participation in the TEJ community experience
Women perform different fundamental tasks in the productive process phase (plowing, sowing, making seedbeds, grinding, cooking, weeding).
