- Changing patterns of use and consumption
- Integration of different energy uses
- Energy access for communities
- Heat generation
- Sustainable mobility
The pilot project has a zero waste approach in the primary processing of DPA activities, introduces electromobility in the transportation of personnel in the bay and strengthening local governance.
The project proposed a technological package for the economic reuse of waste to demonstrate the viability of renewable energy in the transportation of small boats in the bay.
Type of technology
Biodigester (Production of biogas and biofertilizer) , Electrosola boat (Electric motor – Solar panels – Lithium Battery)
Technical characteristics of the proposal
Biodigester: 1200 liters / 317 gal – Gas volume: 700 liters / 185gal – Electromobility: Electric motor 6kw – Solar Panels 2Kw – Lithium Battery 48/5000
Productive, community, environmental, or economic processes or activities that were positively impacted by the implementation of the community experience of TEJ.
Recovery of fishing waste and transportation of personnel
Beneficiaries of the experience
110 people, of whom 40 are women and 70 are men
Achievements and problems encountered during implementation
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Obtaining biofertilizers for organic crops at the local level.
- Arborization Campaign – Environmental Education
- Implementation of marine electromobility
PROBLEMS:
- Local participation
- Obtaining fish RRSS
- Problems (delays in delivery and required features) with the electro-solar system supplier.
Women’s participation in the TEJ community experience
The administration and technical staff is made up of women, as well as the group of interested volunteers, the majority of whom are women.
Impact of the community experience of TEJ on public policy
The project aims to influence current legislation on marine electromobility, for which the organization has participated in the «Energízate Perú» program, in which it won third place in the competition.
